Title: Approval by the Board of Amendment No. 1, Memorandum of Understanding, between the District and Higher Ground Neighborhood Development Corporation, Oakland, CA, for the latter to increase the number of enrichment activities for students by adding several field trips throughout the school year; add funding for after school staff professional development and send staff members to Best of Out-Of-School Time (BOOST) Conference, Bridging the Bay Conference, and other professional development opportunities to help build skills of staff at the After School Program at New Highland Academy, for the period of August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2020, in the additional amount of $8,815.00, increasing the MOU not to exceed amount from $102,567.00 to $111,382.00. All other terms and conditions of the MOU remain in full force and effect.
