Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Alina Faaola, Hayward, CA, for the latter to provide services that focus on, but not limited to, students of Pacific Islander background; facilitate restorative justice circles; home visitations; design alternative behavioral intervention; create contracts with and for students with academic challenges; communicate with families about student behavior and accomplishments; facilitate community groups with students; host events with students that empowers all leadership areas in students; coordinate and provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and student-centered support; and help students achieve their goals, more specifically described in the Scope of Work, at Castlemont High School, for the period of August 20, 2018 through May 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00.
