Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Vanna O'Conner, Los Angeles, CA, for the latter to provide - seven (7) teachers with a 2 day - immersive professional learning that helps leaders and teachers: 1) Build a strong understanding of standards and standards aligned instructional practices and English Language Arts; 2) Build systems, structures, and adult culture that best support standards aligned instructions and deepen impact; 3) Collaborate and share best practices across schools, so that District leaders and teachers leave with a clear and aligned vision for what strong Tier 1 instruction looks like in English Language Arts and feel to implement strategies to support it, at Roosevelt Middle School, for the period September 27, 2018 through September 28, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $3,290.00.
