Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and The Teaching Well, Sonoma, CA, for the latter to design and facilitate trainings for elementary and secondary staff wellness champions, teachers, principals, and other staff from schools and central office to increase staff wellness and self-care and address burn out, secondary trauma and its effects, and create practices that help teams work together on building a healthier environment for staff and their well-being and to work in partnership with the Health and Wellness Unit on design of a staff wellness theory of action, listening campaign, model, programming, and fund development strategy that supports staff wellness across the District, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the term September 21, 2018 through June 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $28,000.00.
