Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Queerly Elementary, Alameda, CA, for the latter to provide Olivia Higgins to work as a consultant to the Healthy Oakland Teen Program Manager and provide consultation to identify gaps in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) programming; assist in design and development of training materials for administrators and school site staff professional development as it relates to meeting the needs of LGBTQ youth and families; support teachers in the implementation of anti-bullying curriculum and serve as a content expert for onsite technical assistance to schools as needed, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of September 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
