Special Committee on Fiscal Vitality to welcome, review Committee & session goals, and agenda for this session.
Session Goals:
- Ensure shared understanding of how OUSD allocates staffing to schools, and the limitations (strengths and weaknesses) of the formula.
- Understand the effect of previous policy change and (1) alignment to board's Theory of Action, (2) administrative ease, (3) the balancing pool, and (4) the impact on the teacher corps.
- Understand the implications of our overall funding level.
- Understand how OUSD allocations compare to similar districts.
