Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Bay Area Community Resources, San Rafael, CA, for the latter to provide a welcoming school environment by developing a family friendly school climate in coordination with the principal, teachers, staff, parents, and students; develop programs and activities designed to engage families in improving student achievement with the Parent Action Team/Family Engagement Team; help develop strong partnerships and enhance communication between students, parents, families, and school staff; coordinate parent and community volunteers in service of the school's student learning and school culture goals, at Sankofa Academy, for the period of October 2, 2017 through June 8, 2018, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00
