Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Faith Network of the East Bay, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide Excel Reading Clinic volunteers to equip primary grade (1st-3rd) students with reading skills necessary to become successful readers by providing individualized instruction in basic literacy during 50 minute/week pull-out sessions; provides a staff coordinator and volunteer tutors for the weekly Excel Reading Clinic; monitor all enrolled students 2X/year and provides families of enrolled students with updates at the end of each trimester, at Burkhalter Elementary School, for the term March 1, 2017 through June 9, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $3,300.00.
