Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and Olivia Higgins dba Queerly Elementary, Alameda, CA, for the latter to organize and lead two District-wide student conferences, titled "Gender and Sexuality Alliance Day (GSA Day)" for middle and high school students, scheduled for April 13, 2017 and April 21, 2017, dedicated to making schools safer for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students (LGBTQ), in the amount of $10,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $15,000.00 to $25,000.00, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the term September 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
