Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Playworks, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a Playworks Teamup Program Site Coordinator to work with recess team (Noon Supervisors and Junior Coaches) as well as all students TK-5th grade, one week a month to model and demonstrate safe, healthy, fun physical activities during all student out of class times including noon-timer recess; provide ongoing training and consultation to Recess Team as well as provide 8 hours of training for teachers and administration, helping to shape values and expectations for positive school behavior across all staff, at Burckhalter Elementary School, for the term November 14, 2016 through June 9, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $17,000.00.
