This conduct was not in compliance with Government Code section 54954.3(a). Board Action: The Board hereby: 1. Acknowledges that the failure to permit non-agenda public comment at the May 13, 2026 Regular Board Meeting violated the Brown Act, Government Code section 54954.3(a). 2. Unconditionally commits to cease and desist from adjourning any Regular Meeting before the designated non-agenda public comment period without either: (a) taking public comment first, or (b) formally continuing that portion of the meeting to a date and time certain pursuant to Government Code Section 54955. 3.
