Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and BookNook Inc., San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide its software licenses to students across five (5) schools - REACH Academy, Emerson, Horace Mann, Fruitvale, and MLK - identified by the Warriors Grant, including access to all content and all features of the literacy platform to support students accessing tiered reading intervention; provide Comprehensive Professional Development to up to 50 staff members, including administrative training for building leaders, 1-hr basic training on BookNook for the tutors implementing the program, and then an additional training session to focus on improving best practices as stated in Exhibit A of the Agreement, via Academics and Instruction Department, for the period of May 2, 2022 through June 30, 2023, in an amount not to exceed $19,992.00.
