Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Moving Forward Education, Emeryville, CA, for the latter to provide 418 hours of service operating a seven week Saturday School, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., intervention program aimed at improving students' skills in English, Language Arts and Math, while also increasing students' testing confidence, targeting 70 Basic, Below Basic, and Far Below Basic students and to work in collaboration with classroom teachers and administration to provide strategic instruction, in literacy and math, at Greenleaf Elementary School, for the period March 10, 2012 through May 12, 2012, in a not to exceed amount of $16,720.00.
