Ratification by the Board of Education of Professional Services Contract between the District and Regents of the University of California, Berkeley, CA, for the latter to provide 64 hours of professional development to 200 District teachers in the following subject matter(s): California Reading & Literature Project (CRLP) Results: Academic Language and Literacy Instruction K-5 Supporting Implementation of the Common Core Standards addressing the right side of the literacy framework for Assessment & Instruction; Results for English Language Learners Update providing participants with an update on the right side of the literacy framework for Assessment & Instruction in relation to the Common Core Standards and A Developmental English Proficiency Test (ADEPT), a valid and reliable oral language assessment instrument (aligned with the CELDT) that can be used with students across grade levels; and Spanish-English Bileteracy Transfer (SEBT) Update that will include follow-up/planning/demonstration and implementation, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, for the period January 4, 2012 through June 30, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $48,920.00.
