Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Shirley Yee, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 843 hours of service by managing the Office of Alternative Education Measure Y Gang Prevention and Intervention grant funded by the City of Oakland by; 1) facilitating quarterly Interagency Gang Prevention Collaborative meetings; 2) coordinating school based services provided by California Youth Outreach at five alternative schools; 3) planning and coordinating parent education workshops in partnership with Project ReConnect; 4) completing grant reporting and evaluation requirements as outlined by the City of Oakland; and 5) ensuring grant compliance and completion of grant deliverables and objectives as outlined in Oakland Unified School District contract with City of Oakland and Measure Y grant proposal, for the period September 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $31,200.00.
