Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Professional Services Contract between District and Youth Uprising, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 335 hours of Service to the Office of School Transformation & Leadership Curriculum and Instruction by facilitating a partnership between Castlemont High School and local middle schools to develop a focused and aligned Professional Development Plan, specifying instructional practices, curriculum maps and student assessment that will be jointly used in the 2011-12 school year to align middle and high school practices, develop program for students returning from the Juvenile Justice Center, work with leaders to develop summer and school year programs for JJC students to improve literacy and math skills while being supported emotionally and socially as they re-enter the school setting, for the period of May 16, 2011 through June 30, 2011, in an amount not to exceed $67,000.00.
