Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 of Professional Services Contract between District and Rodney Spencer, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 279 hours of service, providing computer literacy support for faculty, students, and parents, including weekly computer sessions that include California standards-based technology curriculum, alignment to in-class writing, and web-based tutoring for students; maintainance of school's website, "Pantherpaws.org"; provide parent education classes that include instruction in the areas of basic computer skills, internet access, resume writing, housing and employment searches, in an additional amount of $9,756.33, increasing contract not to exceed amount from $18,900.00 to $28,656.33 and extending the contract period of July 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010 to March 31, 2011, at Lafayette Elementary School. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
