Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and PMA Consulting, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 701 hours of consulting support in the ares of ELA and Math; provide direct services to FBB-B students during the school day; provide training for consultants in: 1) Methodology appropriate for the age of the students and the most effective ways to tutor students at risk; 2) Approaches employed in the regular District curriculum so that there is consistency in learning and the students do not become confused; 3) How to use materials adopted by the school district; 4) Administering Dibels and analyzing data; and 5) Overview of the state standards, at Laurel Elementary School, for the period September 7, 2010 through December 7, 2011, in an amount not to exceed $8,867.65.
